Key Takeaways

  • Peter Bergman stars in Apple TV+’s Pluribus, appearing as a politically connected figure.
  • Fans first hear Bergman’s voice before seeing him on screen in the teaser trailer.
  • The series stars Rhea Seehorn and premieres Friday, November 7, 2025, with weekly episodes.
  • Pluribus has already been renewed for a second season, promising more suspense and twists.

What We Know About Pluribus

Pluribus looks like a mind-bending drama from Vince Gilligan, who created one of the most critically acclaimed TV dramas of all time, Breaking Bad. Additionally, he was the creator of another one of the greatest shows of all time, Better Call Saul.

The nine-episode series starring Rhea Seehorn, from Better Call Saul, debuts in less than a month on Apple TV+. The season’s first two episodes will drop on Friday, November 7, 2025. Apple TV+ has shown its faith in the series. It has already been renewed for a second season.

The premise is a wild one. According to the streaming platform, Seehorn basically plays the most miserable person on Earth. And she is tasked with saving the world from happiness. Undoubtedly, this will be easier said than done.

The Teaser

In the teaser trailer, it’s Seehorn’s character who suddenly finds herself calling into some C-SPAN-style show and talking to the Y&R star’s character, who’s somehow looking directly at the woman through the TV. They have a conversation that starts with, “Hi Carol. Thank you for calling.”

The man in front of the political backdrop tries to reassure her, saying, “This must be bewildering for you. Completely up to you, of course, but you might want to stick close to home for the next few days. We can help you in any way. Please let us know. We can deliver food, medicine, whatever you need. We are here for you. Rest assured, Carol. We will figure out what makes you different.”

When she asks why, the man says, “So we can fix it. So you can join us.” Needless to say, that doesn’t sound reassuring whatsoever. It sounds like everybody in this timeline is the same, except for Carol. She’s an anomaly that might have to go on a journey to end the perpetual (and fake) happiness that is plaguing the planet.

It’s Bergman’s voice that drives the 45-second teaser as footage from the series plays out. And then you get to see the actor himself for the first time around the 30-second mark.

Following the show’s two-episode debut on November 7, new installments will be released weekly, every Friday, through December 26 on Apple TV+.
